Hi,

I just upgraded my graphics card to an ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 on my ASUS Z97-A MB..
I put the 1060 into the main PCI-e slot, plugged in the 6 pin power cord, plugged in the monitor and turned on the power. Nothing happened.

I took the card out and went back to internal GPU and still the machine would not come back on. I waited a minute or so before the machine would turn back on.

I flashed the Z97-A BIOS to the latest version, and tried again, still nothing. This time I did notice a slight "click" in the PSU that indicated that something was happening. And it would appear that the PSU is preventing the machine powering on.

Any advice on where to turn next, the machine has been rock solid for a couple of years and has had other GPUs in the PCI-e slot no problem.

Thanks in advance

System:
MB: ASUS Z97-A
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 TURBO 6GB
PSU: Corsair CS650M
