Hi, Asus has uploaded the beta (posted by Asus) but i just got the link for all users ... sorry they did not gave me any change log, so not sure if has anything new, it suppose to fix some issues from/since last beta, but i don't know either what exactly the fixes are ... i guess about end of september will be an official with all changelog stated, if you can wait, in the case you don't want to use the beta, if you use it it may be good idea to perform a factory reset after the update

Hi, i have the following info if helps

Regarding the log message about CCP, it should not affect using PPTP client.

In this case, try to change the “PPTP options” from “Auto” to “No Encryption” in VPN Client profile.
Then this message should not appear.
Thanks.

Yes of course, or any other firmware you wish ... it will be safer 7 for good functionality if you reset the modem by holding the back hardware reset button for about 6-10 seconds & all settings back from the begin manually (for upgrading or downgrading)

Have you reset the modem after firmware update by holding the back hardware button for about 6-10 seconds & all settings back from the begin manual? (not use of back up file)
