Hi ravi,

What is the brand of your HDD, Seagate or Hitachi or?

Please try partition the whole 3TB into one single NTFS partition with default options under windows 7 and see if the issue can be resolved. Thanks.

Sincerely,

I am having the same issue with a 3TB external HD, Seagate Expansion Drive. >
>I tried formatting it on FAT32 and NTFS, and with neither of them I get the router to recognise it, it always displays the drive as "unmounted".>
>I do not find anything relevant on the log, and the router detectes alright a 2GB external pen drive.

i am still not able to vercome this problem. two days back i had tried to put my 3tb wd hdd but modem is not detecting. but compatibility list say that this modem can handle up to 3 tb partition . i do not know why it is not detecting. the same message that disk is unmounted is shown. i kindly request Paul to seriously look into it.
