1) Well the next blu ray 3D isos* presents problems of stuttering:

Titanic 3D
Piranha 3DD

*They are copys of my original blu ray disc.
The problem is in both the blu ray disc, and the iso reproduce by a external hard drive.

2) Another problem you should revise is mkv with big size, because movies with a size bigger than 12 GBs presents problems as stuttering and lagging.

3) Please you could put the standar 1080p/24 on the reproduction of mkvs.
I dont understand why a blu ray iso is reproduced with the standard 1080p/24, which is good, and a mkv dont reproduce with this standar. Please fix it.

4) Last problem I see it´s with the conection of the hard drive by usb, because if you have connected the hard drive and then you turn on the player, the player dont recognize the hard drive so you have to disconnect and then conect again. So this is horrible. You should fix it too.

Last firmware version 1.06.03 dont fix that problems so please fix it for the next firm.
I'm so disappointed with this firmware.

Thanks for your attention and I hope we can do the best player of the market together.

PD: If you can "ASUSBD3D" please answer me and tell me how are the things to solve the problems that I mentioned.

I think Asus should focus to fix the FW for those who actually PAY for their Blu-ray movies and not pirated stuffs like you are doing, I mean who buys a Blu-ray movie and then converts it to a ISO-file, huh? Peaople are not stupid you know! Maybe you can trick some kids but not me or adults... Now that we have sorted that out, these were the problems when I first used it; 1. The sound gets unsynchronized after a time (it accelerates from just a tiny unsynchronized to a very unsynchronized sound) when I watch a Blu-ray movie. (Should be fixed with the latest FW 1.06.03 and is related to high resolution sounds, like DTS HD MA? Correct me if I'm wrong.) 2. Sometimes Blu-ray movies freezing, sometimes I can get out of it by going back by pressing stop or home-button, but sometimes I need to unplug the netcable. 3. I can't adjust the "textbar" up and down when I play Blu-ray movies. But I heard you can do it when you play "other formats". 4. Sometimes there is no sound when I play a Blu-ray movie, so I need to press Home-button and then back, and in 8 out of 10 cases the sound comes back, but sometimes I need to do these steps a couple of times to get the sound back. That's all bugrelated I found so far...

I don´t wanna go to war with you, Flame. But I buy my blu ray disc and I have problems to reproduce that, so I copy my blu ray disc original to my hard drive to check if the problem persist and it is still there. So I buy I film that I can´t watch, is that fair? (especially Titanic 3D show a message that if you have some problems with the reproduction of the film please contact with the brand of your blu ray player asking for an update because this film is recorded with the maxium level of quality)

So I think we (everybody) can suggest improvements for future firmwares like I did.
I forgot another problem like you said relative to unplug the player, etc. And this is so good everybody has to contribute creating the best player.

Therefore I dont know why you attack saying me, if I´m a pirate. I only want the best for my player and my blu ray disc which I´ve paid.

Please if you are not going to say something to improve the player please dont answer me. Because with that we fill the topic with things that are bad for everybody.

Let's see what other members think about that. If I say like this; If somebody wrote that message to me I would have done anything to prove that i'm not guilty. And the easiest way for you to prove that I'm wrong record the two Blu-ray movies along with your Asus Blu-ray player and say your nickname, but I'm guessing that never gonna happen. You have 12 hours...tick tack tick tack... EDIT: I see now that you changed your first post, haha it's so obvious...

Dear Flame, I'm another member thinking that if I've bought a media player that, in its specs, can play DVD, BD and BD 3D isos, it just HAVE TO DO THAT, possibly in the better way. No matter what's the origin of them.. you and ASUS doesn't have to care about it. If someone think this is only for playing pirated movies, than it doesn't have to be made as a feature! Bye

its nice to see that new frimware finaly suports iso8859-2 encoding and that I don´t have to reencode every single subtitle to UDF-8 to been displyed properly!! Some Mkv files that I wasn´t able to play before now are running fine...however still having problems with large mkv files with more then about 17\18GB that don´t run smooth at all. The player stills making pauses between gapless mp3 and flac files (I didn,t tested other types of compressed music files but I presume the problem stills there to) P.S. Flame if you want just a BR Player why didn´t you bought just a regular BR Player? If I bought a media player I want it to play properly any kind of format that is meant to!! I dont´t think that apart from you there are many more people in the world that bought this player just for playing BR...

I bet you didn't understand a thing in my message, and I can tell by your typing that your English isn't that good. My point was that he used his player for pirated stuffs, and when I read your message you kind of agreed. And israel_16 your time is out... And so you mean that the Asus 700 Blu-ray player is just for people who play other formats like ISO-files or mkv etc!? You're 100% wrong! This player had almost the same feautures as the Oppo 93. I mean how many players have such a good quality and having a lighted up remote? Or two HDMI? And is regionfree? Wireless network? I have a pretty expensive homecinema and my receiver Pioneer LX-72 don't have 3D, but if I but the Asus 700 I can play 3D using my receiver since it have two HDMI. Maybe you should get some facts instead of taking the pirates side for no reason!? If you want to be criminal and download your movies, soundfiles etc! Ok fine! But my first message was to point out that Asus should fix the FW for those people who are using buyed Blu-ray movies, don't you think that's a resonable suggesstion? Or do you think it's wrong to support the ones who makes a movie?

It is a really wrong direction for this discussion I think... ..just few simple questions... What is in the BDS-700/500 specification? Video Files Suffix Extension : .avi, .asf, .mp4, .m4v, .mpg, .mpeg, .ts, .mts, .m2ts,, .mov, .divx, .mkv, .vob+ifo, .wmv, .rmvb, .flv, BD-ISO, DVD-ISO which are the most popular file formats? BD-ISO and the MKV! BD-ISO and disks are working properly? NO BD-ISO working properly? NO MKV files working without any lagging? NO Are these on specification list? YES ...and we are waiting for the solutions from the ASUS pirates, illegal, legal... ??? Asus never support the illegal things so it is not right question! ...and I hope the ASUS will be able to answer and can fix these problems soon! (or modify the specifications for this product) Thank you!
