| How about a few things for the next firmware update...
I would like to see..
1) A video wall where we can have our own movie covers like apples cover flow.
2) maybe a like to IMDB for movie titles so it will auto fetch movie info and display it like PLEX for mac does.

I doubt that they will apply anything that we ask (talking for experience of the last HD2 that I owned), but here it goes.
1 - Internet browser 2 - Movie Covers with info searched in IMDB, with cover, IMDB rate and video and audio info of the file. 3 - Bigger covers When playing music, they could sort of put the cover in background with play-list on top. 4 - We could select which movies go the Movies section or categorize movies like drama, action, adult. 5 - Some folders should have password like folders containing adult movies. 6 -Change channels position 7 -Set 4:3 images to full screen (on 16:9 screen 4:3 broadcasts appear as a square) 8 -On Info in DTV should be available signal strength.
Sure there are many more but for now are the only ones I recall

| All requests above makes sense to me!
Also on issue 7, when you pess option Aspect Ratio should be there (when on DTV I do not see it). If not auto it should remember the setting for the channel.
PG (parental guidance) rating/protection should be there.

| Definitely an internet browser it seems that all these machines that can be connected to the Net only give you limited access to a few mediocre sites, this would make the unit complete with the option of downloading films directly to the drive.
The opportunities to make this machine are all there but i presume its licensing that stops browsers being put into them?

Comparing to a low budget DVB-T receiver that I have the TV PRO has a good thing I record and while recording I can whatch a movie, in my other receiver I can't, but while recording I can't change channel, and in the other receiver I can, and costed 6 times less. So it should change channell while recording.

I assume you can speak for yourself, since my unit is working fine.

| This thread should be sticky.
I miss some features from my xtreamer sidewinder: while playing movie: up arrow skip +3min; down arrow skip -3min; right arrow skip +30sec; left arrow skip -30sec | the asus should save the computer name/ip from network or save as favorite. | the function to step back video don't work very well, even with 32x. | should save last position of every played video and ask if we want to play from the start or from the last position. | the youtube lean back should update the login account every time we run it and display our playlist videos before start play them.

| I would like a small timer in the upper left corner.
