Hi ,
I just build a new pc and i got the problem that my HDD won't start. I can see the loading bar for windows but they never start.
I got a screen who said to start windows normally and the other who said to try to reconfigure the windows with new material ( Recommanded ) or something like that.
I took my old harddisk drive from my older setup, 120gb SATA not a 6gb, who already contain windows 7 64bit but also got the older material configuration. Someone can help me plz ?  i'm deseperate!

Hi C..

This is not an unusual problem when you shift a boot drive from one system to another..  the hardware addresses recorded in the Windows installation don't mean anything on the new board.  First thing to try is a Startup Repair...

Hi c..

Generally, a fresh installation of your operating system on a new system assembly is the best course...  But the repair, if it works, can save your files....

The board set the default sata mode as AHCI... just simply change to IDE in the bios will do.
But this only work for same chipset. Incase you change board.
