I need xp driver for EeePC 1015B, I can not find it from asus support site, try ATI and 3rd party driver, some work, some don't, especially Asus ACPI the hotkey, can't find it anywhere. Thank you in advance for someone can help me out.

There is no sub forum for Eee PC, so I have to post here, I wish someone will help me.

Hi J..

This is all that is available..
http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=Eee+PC+1015B&p=20&s=1

These units do not come with WindowsXP and user modification, reconfiguration, repair and upgrading are not recommended...  that is why there is no Forum section for the units here as Asus does not want to encourage those sorts of things.. causes too many problems.

However, you might get some ideas if you post to a notebook section in the forum linked below..

I need these badly as well.
OS: XP
SuperHybridEngine
and Hotkey drivers.
It does come with Win7 (very slow).
It should not mean that I can not use it under XP.
Thanks!!

I did contact Asus many times:
1. Looked for drivers on web site
2. calling the tech support
3. visiting the service centers
