That would be great if you can read and write French, though.

________use at your own risk________

The link oki provided has a download for "ASUS P6X58D-E Premium 0502 v8.0 >> v10.1" and in that file is a Custom BIOS for ASUS P6X58D-E based on ver. 0502

Originally created to allow SSDs to be correctly discovered in RAID

Changes

-------

Updated Intel Matrix Storage ROM to v10.1.0.1008 from v8.0.0.1038

Updated Marvell 9128 BIOS to 1.0.0.1027 from 1.0.0.1019

Updated Marvell Firmware to 2.1.0.1504 from 2.1.0.1413

I have not had any issues after doing the Update.

I suggest you backup your old Bios before you try this just in case.

Thanks for the link oki
Used the EZ Flash from BIOS to upgrade without any problems. Can't say that I have seen any performance increase or erratic behavior after the upgrade.
Keep in mind for next official ASUS BIOS release that the firmeware/BIOS for Intel Matrix and Marvell 9128 could bee downgraded to an older version.

Hey guys.

So i spoke to someone from Marvell tech today about the P6x58d-e board and the Marvell sata controller,  As far as they are concerned if the Marvell controller states its a 9123 then that's exactly whats it is.  So why have Asus advertised this board as having a 9128 when clearly its a 9123? (as stated in the Marvell controller: crtl+M),  I'm speaking with Asus UK HQ to find some answers to this and will report back with what they say.

Regards

I have the Rampage III Formula and it's states 9123 in the Marvell bios window (CTLR+M). So, i did take a look at the chipset itself on the motherboard and it's wrote 9128. I can't tell you why but it's very strange. If it was the 9123 chip, you should not be able to have the ctlr+m option during the post according the Asus rep. Marvell is driving me crasy. Asus moyherboard ? No more !
