it would be nice to have a bios update that you could turn off the turbo boost on the i7 cpu.
also it would be nice if you could set the fan on the cpu to run at 100%, as it cools both the cpu and the gpu.
and the lower case need more vents for air flow.

Well if it's  the case why ya bought the core i7 lappy in first place. It's on of the core i7 and i5 advantages.

maybe i should have gotten a laptop with a amd cpu in it, i like to have my laptop run nice and cold, maybe if the fan would speed up and down with this speed boost in the i7, it would help.

U do not need a bios update to turn the turbo boost off . simply u can set your lap top in power4gear on entertain mod or quiet office and your CPU will working with the lowest frequency that possible.
