Installing the latest Hotkey Utility, KB Filter and Super Hybrid Engine will give you back all your FN functions. They all can be found in the download section of your Eee.

Well obviously you can find your solution in the last resort: Doing a System Restore with the ASUS Restore DVD.

Go into the BIOS (hitting F2 during boot) and disable BootBooster and Quiet Boot. F10 & ENTER to save & exit.
Have the ODD connected to your Eee and boot from it (hitting ESC during boot will start Boot Device Manager, choose your ODD) with the ASUS Restore DVD in it.

Follow the directions on screen to do a Full Restore, returning your Eee to Factory Default. This will erase all data on your entire HDD so back-up your personal files first.
