Hi,

I recently uninstalled eee docking- it is no longer visible on my system, however upon rebooting, the desktop background override that eee docking provided has started up again.

How do I get rid of this eee desktop background!?

(i've upgraded to windows 7 premium - so I really don't need it anymore)

I think you need some cleaners for your computer, because the edock background is installed in the registry. http://www.ccleaner.com/

Check your start-up programs. CCleaner can do it for you as well.

The background stuff is done in Eee System Settings as far as I know. Remove this.

You also don't need the Asus Screen Saver Protector program.

I still haven't figured out what OOBERegBackup does, but I have removed this as well.

OOBERegBackup appears to put infomation back into the registry if it gets deleted...such as the default screen saver and backgrounds.  It runs on every boot so even if you delete the other programs it will put the information back into the registry and you get stuck with the default wallpaper.
