Hi, I started updating drivers the other day and replacing vista and default windows 7 drivers with the new Asus issued drivers for my m50vc, now everything works fine but i failed to notice that Touch-pad has lost its mode function and is now just as any other track pad, meaning no extra touch-pad zones, no back light, no mode functions in general...everything gone dead :( now i noticed that in the device manager, touch pad is listed as ps/2 device, that looks strange, but i'm not sure what was it before it stopped working, I tried updating and replacing driver, i even downloaded and installed a driver from synaptic website, nothing changed, same issue. I should also mention that the back light on touch pad lids on boot and shuts down when windows 7 boots. Can anyone help... thanks

It is compatible with Windows 7.

Enjoy!!
