Hello,

I just installed WinXP Pro x64 on a M4A78T-E mobo with 4GB of RAM. To get support for more monitors, I added a video card Sapphire Radeon HD4350 (1GB DDR2).

However, the card doesn't seem to work well. Independently of whether I disable or enable the on-board video, it sometimes shows some arbitrary pixels lighting up or blinking during the boot screen, and even though the system boots up, it sooner or later locks up when I use the screen displayed by the video card (like moving a window to that screen).

This behavior doesn't change, independently of the slot. (It fits in either of the two PCI-E x16 slots.)

Is there a known incompatibility? Anything in the BIOS that I can or should change to make this card work?

Thanks,
Gerhard

FWIW, the problem seems to be a defective video card. I tried the card in a different computer and it showed the same symptoms.
