Hello,

I have an HP desktop---Slimline s3020n with an Asus M2NC51 AR motherboard I recently had to replace. I would really like to know why this motherboard is not listed on the ASUS website at all. I would like to install a second memory bank on the motherboard but the BIOS on this computer does not allow me to change that option or to enable dual channel in any way. The PC is currently running on one stick of RAM and will not boot at all with 2. I want to update BIOS to see if a later version will allow for more memory, but the fact that this motherboard doesn't even exist on the ASUS wbesite doesn't help at all. Would anybody be kind enough to tell me what's going on here?

The site to go to for software updates on an HP Pavilion Slimline s3020n including the latest BIOS (2008, I believe):

These are proprietary systems.  I don't believe Asus downloads apply:  you have to get 'em from HP even though Asus makes them.  This site in HardForum has more extensive information on these computers including info on the buggy motherboard that came with the HP s3020n (HematiteXL aka Asus M2NC51-AR):
