Hi , could any one help? I have an  asus x58c which has built in wi-fi which is turned on by pressing fn and f2 keys, but it only works now and again .The internet connection is fine and works great when i can turn on the wireless function. Is there any other way of turning this on.

Refer to the user’s manual page 31.  There is a Wireless Switch for turning on/off the wireless LAN.  Make sure that it is turned on.  The wireless indicator will light up when it is on.

Hi, i followed your advice to look up in the manual, but that is the way i turn on the wireless with the fn and f2 key, sometimes when i press this it turns on the wireless and at other times it dose not and we can not find another way to turn it on. Is there another way to turn on wireless or is there anything i can download to fix this problem? Hope someone can help.

Go to:
control panel / device manager / network adapters
then choose Atheros AR928X Wireless Network Adapter, press right mouse button and select enable from falldown menu.

That should do.

This worked for me, the switch was on the left side of the unit. I've never noticed it before!
