With my new 701/SD Linux I can't use any wifi network.

The realtek wlan ( realtek RTL8187 pilote R8180) sees the differents networks (essid)

but when I try to connect I always have this error:

Configuring interface ath0=lan2 (inet)

run-parts --verbose /etc/network/if-pre-up.d

Error for wireless request "Set Frequency" (8B04) :

SET failed on device ath0 ; Operation not supported.

I tryed it with wep or no wep all my others computers can connect without any problem (thinkpad with ubuntu linux centrino chipset,  apple power book 12" with ubuntu or macosx etc...)

I am sure that the key is good (even without wep it do not work)

I always erase all the others connections before creating the new wlan connection and I use the network icon to create it not the wireless one as mentionned in the beginner's guide

Thank you in advance

Before, I tried in a console (Ctrl+Alt+T) to update my system with this 2 following commands :
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

I accepted the 2 questions (O) and received massives updates, except one who failed (xbase, doesn't seem important)

But no better result with my wifi connexion at the end...

I got 14 days to return the product. Shame, because the product looks nice...
