Hi everybody,

I have now installed Vista 64 and I'm thinking about upgrading from 4GB (now 4x1GB) to 8GB RAM (4x2GB), but can't find really good information about what RAM to use. I thought about useing 1066Mhz RAM. Is this even possible? I read the QVL but only found that 2GB 1066 RAM (2x1GB) are officially supported!? Has somebody of you 8GB 1066 Modules running? I appreciate every help. Thanks in advance.

RAMs are working fine :). The only thing I had to do, was changing the timings in the BIOS. Thanks again for the fast and proper reply.

I originally installed 4GB (2x2) of CORSAIR XMS2 DHX SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Desktop Memory TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX when I built my rig 2 yrs ago and have had zero problems.  Recently upgraded to Win 7 Home Premium 64bit and installed another 4GB of the same RAM and it worked flawlessly.
