Hi everyone,
I have a question about what looks like an Infrared cable that was included in the box that came with my M70SA. It's the cable that has the small red thing at the end with a sticky pad on the back. Where does it plug in?
Cheers, Nap

can you upload a pic of that somewhere? Mine didn't come with a cable like you describe. I have the A1 model and it has built in infared. What model do you have (it should say on the underside of your laptop)?

Hi EvilEmpire,
I thought Darth Vader finally realised his evil ways and atoned, and thus the evil empire was destroyed as a result. Or was that a fairy tale?
Anyway, here is the answer to your question. The IR detector I was talking about plugs into the IR Hub, which is a USB device. I received both of them with my M70Sa notebook.
You can see them here.
The M70Sa does have a built in IR sensor, but the one on the cable obviously allows more flexible use of the remote control etc.
Cheers, Nap

I feel cheated because I didn't get anything like that with my m70 purchase :)
To answer your initial question....I have no idea to be honest. I don't really see the point in it. What's the make and model of the infrared device? any serial number or anything?
