I have installed an additional 1GB memory for a total of 3GB (2x1GB and 2x512MB) - matching pairs of G.Skill HZ memory modules, and they seem to be running fine at 800MHz.

I reduced the CPU clock from 2.925GHz to stock 2.4GHz, and have not had time for any extensive testing or overclocking.

For the 32 bit XP Home, I had to activate /3GB switch in the boot.ini file for the OS to recognize it, and now the Task Manager shows over 3000000K of Total Physical Memory.

Trying to do it in "msconfig" as someone here has mentioned would not work for me - in the boot.ini Tab, Advanced, System Memory would not scroll beyond 2048MB.  It seems as it can only be used to limit the available memory BELOW the total installed, ex. in case of a bad memory chip in the module.

An update to my previous post:

After "upgrading" from BIOS v.0202 to 0608, I experienced boot failures and other unexplained issues with the motherboard.

It seems to have been cured with changing the frequency of the memory to 867MHz, and increasing the Northbridge Voltage to 1.58V.

Apparently there is a "memory hole" if running 4 sticks of RAM, somewhere between 710MHz and 860MHz.  So, the memory frequency below 710 (e.g. 667MHZ) and above 860 (e.g. 867MHz) should work for most 4-stick RAM combinations.  Of course, the RAM must be able to accomodate these frequencies.

Also, the NB voltage should be increased to 1.58V for the 4-stick RAM configuration - it has been documented on the OCZ memory forum.
