I have the same issue.  It looks like others do aswell with other notebooks.  They said it was an issue with Vista.

I wouldn't mind if Asus can resolve this issue for us.  I want my notebok up to date.

Regards,

Same deal at my end. When you right click the icon in the system tray it pops up a menu, but you can't read any of the text.

I have the same problem too. At first I thought something had not been installed properly or that I had already managed to stuff up a brand new laptop T_T I'm glad it's not broken, but it's really annoying. So should I just uninstall it then?

I had the same problem, moreover this useless utility only caused problem (it made my laptop A3Vc go wild)... my friends, who are close to software, adviced me to simply remove it from my laptop and never activate if i install it again... i feel so sad they didn't advice me that before

I have the Pro31P also, with Vista Home Premium OEM. My Live Update doesn't even load. I also noticed that LifeFrame's help won't work either. It just says "Failed to launch help" and a Vista message pops up saying:

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which was used in previous versions of Windows and it is not supported in Windows Vista.

For more information, see Windows Help program (WinHlp32.exe) is no longer included with Windows on the Microsoft support website.

Come on Asus, get with the progam!

Hello ,
Yes, I also have the PRO 31P= Live up date is disabled & I cannot find  a solution. Website advice is to download the latest drivers- I cannot find any link on the site!
I tried to insert the disc ,but it appears to do nothing.
Even trying to download other supposed upgrades (like BIOS) doesnt seem to work. When I opened folders on the CD, a message came up saying that it only supported Vista Home Premium (among others)
HELLO-The notebook came preloaded with vista....
Any suggestions?-apart from using the notebook as an anchor that is!

Thanks!
Rob
