Sorry, but with ITECIR8708 does not exist XP driver, only Vista driver exist!
ASUS said it, that under XP unsupported.

Hi guys,
finally I solved problem on mine X55Sv with ITECIR (ITE8708) device under Windows XP x86 installation!!!
Here was incorrect driver, please read my post on 2-nd page, for working driver.

Hi,
Sorry, but does not work.
There is a yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager.
Could not load the driver.

I still get the Unknow device after following your steps. What could I have done differently or could I be missing some other driver?
What is the UAA driver for?

I try it, but missing the CIRCoInst.dll and the device driver can't be loaded.
Maybe, I install it XP again, it will help possibly. I hope...
I say thank you for the help.
For somebody the ITECIR it works under XP with a mobile phone or any infrared devices?
