I have a M50Vm and the image on my webcam is inverted. I tried formating the computer but the outcome is still the same, any suggestions? Also, I tried updating the driver as well.

Put the Vista Driver & Utility CD (came with your computer) into the DVD drive.  Go to the Device Manager.  Click with the right mouse key on the Camera, and select “Uninstall driver”.  Restart your computer.  Windows will find new hardware.  Direct the driver installation wizard to the DVD drive.  It will search and install the correct driver automatically.
