Hi i have a question about the webcam as i can't find the right driver for the webcam to make it work, is there a possible driver that can make the webcam work ? I have tried to use the vista driver but it won't work in windows 7, i hope someone knows the solution. Cheers.

I just installed Windows 7 64-bit on my f3sv, and it took me a couple tries off of the Asus website to find the webcam driver. I think Asus lists about 10-12 different webcam driver links, and it was trial and error before I finally found the one that worked with my laptop.
For the record, I have all of my drivers correctly installed in Windows 7. So yes, there are drivers for all of the hardware that comes in our laptops.

I'm having the same problem. I've gone through every one of the 15 drivers on the linked site, and I can't find anything. If anyone has figured out a fix, I'd love to hear it.

Try the following: Look up the driver named as such (google, or whatever): CMOS_Camera_D-Max_GD-6A31_GD-6A33
Then, instead of using their installer, let windows search for drivers in that folder. This worked for me just now.

I just installed window 7 32 bit and my webcam shows in the imagine devices when I go into device manager, but does not show up when I go into my computer. Do I need to reset it in the bios as I have done in recent bios updates?
Have EEEPC 1000H. Please send to my email address below please. Thanks Doug Cooley doug_cooley@hotmail.com
