I install Windows 7 to my notebook. Everything is ok. All the drivers and utilities (by all of you thanks;)) but when ı tried to open 'my indentity' under the Asus Security Center i had a warning:
The Asus Security Protect Manager is not properly installed on your compter.
If the problem persists please contact your system administrator.

Whatever I do, I can't solve this problem and can't use 'my indentity'.

Can anyone help me? Is there a solution or update? Thanks a lot

Hi!I installed these apps by doing one by one. I mean, you must introduce your disc of Asus drivers and utilities on the CD/DVD drive, open up it and go to  "software". Once you are there, you can choose whether an application you want to be installed or not. Enter on its folder and right click to the "setup.exe" file > properties > compatibility > turn the compatibility with windows vista sp2 on and run this program as administrator. Then, try to install it by double clicking.

I wish this has helped you!

Install ASUS Data Security Manager Utility for Win7 32/64 bit.  It includes “ASUS Security Protect Manager”.

Willy,

I have installed Data Security Manager for Win7 but I do not see "Asus Security Protect Manager". Neither do I see "My Identity" in the start menu programs list.

You must install the Fingerprint Driver for Win7.

Windows 7 contains the necessary drivers in itself.  You don’t need to install the drivers.  When the installation of Windows 7 is completed, use Windows Update to get the latest drivers.

Also, install the following Windows 7 drivers and utilities.  Everything will work properly.

ATK0100 ACPI Driver

ATK_MEDIA Utility

ATK_Hotkey Utility

ASUS ATKOSD2 Utility

ATK Generic Function Utility

ASUS Data Security Manager Utility (also for fingerprint logon)

Life Frame Utility

Power4 Gear Hybrid Utility

ASUS Splendid Video Enhancement Technology

Keyboard Device Filter Utility

ASUS Express Gate Utility

Fingerprint driver and utility

Camera Driver (Follow instruction and get PID code first)

ITE remote controller application

Good luck!!

Willy, I have already installed this driver. The "Asus Data Security Manager" you linked to does NOT include "Asus Security Protect Manager". The Asus Data Security Manager just allows me to encrypt security for folders and files.

Okay I have solved this.

You can use the Vista version of ASUS Security Proector Manager (ASPM) but there is a compatability error which is displayed.

This is a problem which relates to a VeriSoft process called AsGHost.exe

Here is where I found the information: Windows Seven Forums - Compatibility Issue

A file found in the directory "Windows\Appatch" and "Windows\winsxs\wow64_microsoft-windows-a..ence-mitigations-c1_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_726bd423405e346f" called sysman.sdb needs replacing with a version found on the above forum.

Verisoft are supposedly aware of the problem. But I have tested the above and it works perfectly. I also note that you DO NOT NEED TO INSTALL THE FINGERPRINT DRIVER SEPERATELY. The Vista ASPM includes the drivers required.
