Hi, everyone. I'm planning to buy ASUS XOnar HDVA 1.3, but I'm kinda lost here... As far as I can tell I can't connect analog 5.1 acouustic system to the NON-deluxe version of the card, right? Or there is a way for me? 'Cause I don't want to pay extra for just a small extension card... TIA

Right; the base card has only the front analog outputs.

I don't want to pay extra for just a small extension card...

You get what you pay for.

If you only have two analog outputs, then it is very hard to get 5.1 :-)

But if you use HDMI-out to a decent receiver, the signal should be correctly handled as 5.1 (or what the source supplies), or am I wrong?
