I recently received my Xonar DGX (confirm DGX) and could not install the sound drivers because of the error message "Please plug-in ASUS Xonar DGX Audio device" In fact, it seems the DGX is so unsupported that there are no software to download on the Asus website: http://www.asus.com/Multimedia/Audio_Cards/Xonar_DGX/#download I cannot even select the DGX model in the drop down menu on this forum! After digging around it seemed that the problem was the Xonar EEPROM error, and my card had the default ID. On the device manager it reported a hardware id of PCI\VEN_13F6&DEV_8788&SUBSYS_878813F6. Source: http://www.alsa-project.org/main/index.php/Xonar_EEPROM_Failure Unfortunately the DGX model is not supported there either. What can I do?

Actually, all I need is the hardware device ID hex number for the Xonar DGX. If anyone has that I can fix this!

Problem has been fixed by the ALSA project. The Xonar DGX is now included.
