I installed XP Pro with sp2 and sp3 more tha three times. I upgrade newest version of bios.
But, the function keys stills not working on it, other than bright function.
Many people who owned eee pc, they have same problems, but there are no way to fix.
Did any body know how to fix or recall from the asus?

Have it check at nearest asus service center or authorize service center right away.

You will need to install ASUS ACPI first. Check the downloads section for your model Eee PC and look in the section labeled "OTHER"

I have the same problem, and I'm very disappointed with Asus terrible Help Center for Customers. There, nobody knows how to solve this problem.

In order to use the Fn keys, you need to have the asus ACPI driver installed. Please check if you have it, in your Cpanel, system, and check there. If it say Standard PC, or general acpi support, then you dont have it. If it say asus ACPI and asus battery, then you are ok. If you dont have acpi at all, then you have to re-install in order to install acpi.
