Version V1.0.0.0
Version V4.00.0010
ACPI-V6_1_1_1027
ACPI_XP_080630
and no one works.
they all start to install, but in all case, they stop the install, roll back all the file and nothing is finally install.

Solution is here!
Tested on 1000h and 2204 BIOS:
Uninstall all ACPI/SHE drivers.
Download and install this: ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/asus/eeepc/Utility/HotkeyService-1_15.zip ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/asus/eeepc/Utility/KBFilter-1_0_0_3_32.zip ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/asus/eeepc/Utility/ASUS-SHE-V2_09.zip ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/asus/nb/Drivers/Touchpad/Touchpad_Elantech_Win7_32_7059.zip
Reboot and Fn keys + ACPI will work :)
Please, test it to confirm this solution and post if it´s working.

No luck for me. The ACPI drivers still fail with BIOS 2204. Asus tray tool doesn't work either.
Which ACP drivers did you install (after you had uninstalled them)?
Fn keys, SHE and touchpad are working.

That helped me; I had still some problems with the Asus ACPI driver, but after installing everything else, the ACPI driver was functional. Well, the version 6.1.1.1027 of the ACPI driver worked, whereas I was unable to install all other versions on my machine.
Now, all seems to go quite well, however only after some time I am going to know it for sure.
add1: After some restarts the Asus ACPI driver seems to get replaced with the MS ACPI driver, and so I have again the message, Asus ACPI driver is missing, and I see no more the info graphics when I change volume and screen brightness, and more importantly the four keys are no longer working. I am unable to switch back to the Asus ACPI driver, because if I do, then I get a message, it were not compatible with my hardware and no driver for a 32-bit system (although it worked before some minutes).
add2: What a fluke ... I have removed just the Asus driver and now I see again the info graphics, no error messeges anymore, and the four keys are working -- all with the MS ACPI driver. Maybe I have missed something ...

On the asus support webpage, some drivers are publish specifiqualy for win 7 :
AHCI Driver for WIN7 Super Hybrid Engine Utility for WIN 7 KB Filter Utility for Win7
Chipset Driver for WIN7
maybe, they will correct all ours probleme with "official" drivers.

| OK every one!
And the solution (for me) are :
Go to the asus support 1000H, donload this file :
Super Hybrid Engine Utility for WIN 7
KB Filter Utility for Win7
Chipset Driver for WIN7
HotkeyService-1_15 (than for the post JamesSVK)
ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/asus/eeepc/Utility/HotkeyService-1_15.zip.
When i install just the last one, nothing happend, but when i install all... everything works fine.
you just have to reboot 4 times, but now (and for me) it's working fine
