I received this monitor two days ago and I love this monitor! I can go on and on about it but thats not why I am writing. I hooked my PS3 up ,using an HDMI cable, earlier today to see how it works on this thing and I have a big problem. I went to launch a game and as soon as the game goes to load I get this awful sound that comes from the monitor. I checked to see if it was my other speakers I have plugged in but it wasn't them so i freaked out and turned off the monitor. The noise immediately stopped, but as soon as i turned it on it made the noise again. I have tried reconnecting the HDMI cable, trying multiple games, nothing seems to fix my problem. Please write any suggestions you may have and thanks!

I don't have the same problem but i do have problems connecting my PS3. It is a different model than yours also. (VH222) But it seems to me that the PS3 for whatever reason doesn't like ASUS, because i have seen a lot of these posts. You may have to service it, but i am not a hundred percent sure. I know this didn't really help but i hope it reassured you that you are not the only one that is having problems connecting it to a PS3. Hope you get your monitor up and running soon. Good Luck with everything!

Well it is good to know that I am not the only one having problems with the PS3. I sent in and email and now I have to fill out a form basically stating what my computer's specs are, even though it should not have anything to do with my computer but whatever helps is ok. Thanks for replying though
