Hi!

I just got this (VW266H) monster monitor installed with my GTX280.
Everything make me happy except for 1 thing - XP shows this monitor as 'Plug and Play'.

What are the plans in Asus regarding drivers for monitors?
It's not necessary to make something extra-ordinary - just provide INF-file with a list of screen resolutions and supported screen refresh rates...

If you have no plans to provide them - just publish a list of supported resolution modes and horisontal/vertical refresh rates for each mode - so anyone (me, for ex.) will be able to prepare INF for monitor by it(my)self.

Great!

Just found a list of screen resolutions/refresh rates in the User Gude.
So I'm going to prepare INF for monitor by myself.

Is anybody interesting in my INF for monitor? Probably it will be possible to prepare INF for other monitors as well...

Sorry, had no time to play with INF files anymore...
26'' + GTX280 + Q9550 + 4Gb - it's pretty fun comp to play with...
I'm still looking for a game which will make my comp at least 50% busy ;-)

P.S. Why I'm VIP member, and BONNAND - not? ;-)

P.S.S. Still thinking about providing 266H parameters in INF file...

I don't believe Windows seeing your VM266H as a "Plug & Play" monitor is a problem,

since most NVidia card users will keep that "NVidia Control Panel" software active,

and that software supercedes control of your LCD & Video card over Windows XP.

I'm running Windows XP SR3 fully patched with a cheap NVidia card, and still enjoy
full resolution, multi montior, and portrait landscape control without Windows XP's help.
