| Hi, first of all, I'd like to say that I'm mostly satisfied with my new Padfone. And it's already replaced my Asus Eee PC T101MT netbook.
But ever since I got the phone I've been having trouble with poor cell signal strength when it's inserted into the station. And in almost all cases the phone will have a good signal when I eject it from the station again. In some cases I will get a better signal if I re-insert the phone, or push a little on the phone where it says "Push here" in the station.
Are anyone having the same issue? And does anyone have any suggestions for how to solve the problem?

I do have exactly the same issue here (bought last week, WW model, last firmware). I have no answer, I just sent a message to ASUS support. It seems that the antenna of the station is not working/taking the relay, but it's impossible to say if it's a soft or a hardware issue. Until now, the only solution I found is to open the back of the station. It can't be a definitive solution, I really hope ASUS will give and answer asap.

Hello guys,
I found out I had the same problem. After some research, I discover that the 3 pin connector is used for the antenna connection. So I take look at mine and it appeared that the Padfone 3 pin connector was not touching the connector from the Padfone Station. I was able to make the connector stick out a little more with a little screw driver. And now it works perfectly.
I hope it will help!
PS: I cannot be declared responsible of any damage you cause on your Padfone making the repair. ;)
