Printer Setup Utility claims it can not find a wireless router supporting any printer sharing functionality. However, the RT-N66U network map shows that an Epson USB MFP(hi-speed) device is connected. Has anyone had success with this setup yet? Mykyl

I toyed with this option myself. On the Windows platforms it seems to print OK in LPR mode as described on the tutorial page.

However, if you try to print on a Mac client in this manner the printer is not available, futhermore it seems "crash" the USB printing system as the Windows clients can no longer print after that print job from the Mac is sent until the router is rebooted.

In this sense the advertising is misleading. When you see both the Windows and Mac icon on the box you assume that this means all of the features...

To date, with my experience setting up this unit privately for myself as well as 2 other clients is that if you don't have a printer that supports Air Print (WiFi directly built in) or a physical network adapter built into the printer you will not be able to print via Mac, iPhone, or iPad; with or without the printer manufacturers utilities installed as of firmware .96 or .102

Hopefully this is something that is addressed in the near future and not overlooked until the next hardware revision comes out and they basically stop supporting this one.

Still no luck as of .108 with iPhone / iPad printing.  Printers with thier own NIC/WiFI seem fine however any printer that relies on the router hookup via USB rather than its own build in NIC will not work with these Apple clients.

Printer is hooked via USB into the router and is detected as shown below, however even the printer icon up top is not activated and Apple iPhone/iPad clients still can not print.

Same issues as described above, iPhone clients can not even see the printer with the Samsung proprietary app installed despite the app having a driver specific to the printer hooked up to the router...

Kev have you tried this with Tomato USB and any printers that don't have integrated NIC's (USB connection)? This Samsung 310 color laser printer really drops a load in its shorts when any Mac clients try to print but the Windows 7 seems to print just fine as of .108 stock.

Also curious as to the limitations of the shared USB drive with Tomato, is it still locked to a 2Gig max limit for the external drive like the stock firmware???
