I'm trying to register my RT-N12 logged on Asus's web. It keeps telling me the serial number is bad. I have tried various number letter combos for 1/l/I, 0/O/o, caps, lower case etc. Today is the 3rd day I've tried.

I had the same issue trying to register my 1015PEM. It even told me where to locate it but I could not find the numbers/letters it said it would be next to. I entered what I figured was the serial number and told me it was bad. Because I was registering it at the last minute, I just left it with the numbers/letters that where already in the space where I would type in the serial number. It didn't make sense to me but I figured better than to not register anything. I know we don't have the same product but definitely have the same issue when trying to register them. I guess I better contact 'support' to get that straighten out.

Thanks, Laz. I'm installing a new Asus MB this weekend. I wonder if that will be accepted. Anyway good luck.

I sent off a note thru their escalation email form. Got a quick answer and was able to register.

i am having the same problem reg my new RT-N56U Box keeps popping up the SN is Wrong Strang Hope this is not a BAD Start!!!!

Same problem. Trying to register my RT-N56U and keep getting told the SN is incorrect.
