If the OS is on RAID0 then you will need to load RAID drivers when you start hiren's boot cd in order for the cd to see the drives.  I ran into this a while back when I was trying to uninstall the drivers for an ethernet card and windows said I didn't have permission to delete the files.  I booted to hiren's cd and used the f6 floppy drivers and I was able to delete the files and fix my ethernet card.

To run memtest you burn the free memtest cd image file to a disk and then set the machine to boot from that cd.  When the machine boots to the memtest cd the test will start on its own, let it run for 2 passes.

Thanks for answering but now I have the 1st BOOT device with the maxtor WinXP 32 without raid

I would like to know because it is unable to run the hiren's boot in this motherboard

Was it because of the SATA drivers?

Do you know if worked ULTIMATE BOOT CD?

Thank you very much

If the sata controller is set to RAID (whether you have a RAID array or not) then you need to load RAID drivers.

If the machine will run windows then there is no reason why it shouldn't run hiren's boot cd or ultimate recovery disk.
