Hello, I'm hopping someone can help mw on why WOL stops working after like 10 min?? I send the package and the computer responds but shuts itself down like 1 second after. If I shutdown windows and try it after , it works perfectly, just after some minutes the motherboard responds but shuts itself down immediately. Disabling the internal pll over voltage on bios made suspend work (at least on the moment after suspend) and was hopping WOL would start working every time but no, only works on the next minutes of shutdown. Resuming WOL is working because motherboard responds but fails to boot. Only way is to manually press power. Sorry to be bothering your guys but i need help on this one :( can someone make the test and see if it boots after like 15 min of shutdown? Thank you

The same thing happens to me with Wake by RTC Alarm.  The system turns on for 1 second then shuts itself off.

adolfo,  You didn't mention this so just checking, in the EFI, Advanced, Onboard Devices Configuration, do you have Intel PXE OPROM enabled?  It does not mention this in the manual, but in the EFI help for this option, it states this must be Enabled for WOL to work.

Jeffery,  You didn't mention this so just checking, in the EFI, Advanced, APM, do you have Power On By RTC enabled?

Hi, Magnetar, thank you for your time on this but i thought i had explain it correctly. During the few minutes after shutdown wol works, If I wait longer (like 10 or 15 min) when i send the wol magic packet, the P67 powers on but shutdowns itself down 1 second after !! Only manually powering it up works after. RTC works if you set it for a few minutes but stops working when 10 - 15 min passed.

(but answering to your question, yes i have + PME set to activated in windows/ intel lan proprieties)

Adolfo,  As I said, just checking.

Well, this seems to related to the wake from Sleep issue, as some users can only wake from Sleep if they do so within 10 to 15 minutes of entering Sleep.  Did you try disabling the PLL Overvoltage setting in the BIOS, that ASUS claims solves the Sleep issue, but does not work for most people.  Otherwise, I am not aware of a fix for your issue.

Yes it was enabled.

I just found out that Power on by RTC will only work after shutting down from Windows.  It won't work if I turn off the system by pressing the power button while at POST.

Unfortunately yes, I have tried everything. It seams logical like you pointed how that the sleep problem is related. Some kind of APM code on the bios stops working after about 10 min.. And when i say APM i say everything related to APM. for e.g., wakeup from keyboard/space bar stops working after 10 min!!! This sucks because I have no way of waking up the machine while away from it.. I have to leave it on :( I'm waiting a while to see if asus fix this or i'll have to exchange the motherboard for other brand, I need WOL...
