Hello, i just have a quick question. I got the P8Z77-vLX motherboard yesterday at fry's. And they installed the CPU and RaM and tested the motherboard for us, and it worked. When we got home we got everything hooked up and so we turned it on. (we have an Antec 25 Eathwatts 650w power supply). when we turned it on nothing was going, Not the fans, or the CPU fan. But there was a little green light that turned on. Does that mean its on standy. If it does then how do we turn it on.

Hi Mike...

In order for the board to work, you must have both the 24wire EATXPWR connection and the 8wire EATX12V connection made to the power ports on the board from the power supply... so be sure those are connected.

If they are, then check the front power switch wiring to the system panel connector.. the wiring may be on the wrong pins...

If all that is OK, thn you may have a case short...  The power supply will not start if it can't get it's voltages into specification...  sand a short will cause an overcurrent that prevents that from happening
