Hello. I have just installed my original copy of Windows 8 Pro 64 bit.
I have installed all the new drivers from the Intel site and everything is fine, except for the bluetooth chip (not recognized properly).
I'm wondering which driver I need for Bluetooth. The Asus site has drivers for Windows 7 but not for Windows 8.

Thank you.

I updated my Win 7 Pro 64-bit -> Win 8 Pro 64-bit. Not a fresh install but "on top of" Win 7.

Before installation the Compatibility Report told that Bluetooth Win7 Suite (64) was not compatible. It had to be uninstalled to continue Windows 8 installation.

Afterwards, when the installation of OS was complete I got a nag window:
" ASUS Mobilink
There is no Bluetooth COM port detected. Please ensure a Bluetooth COM port is set up, then restart the system. "

However, I managed to pair my mobile phone with bluetooth and sent and received data successfully. I added the hidden bluetooth icon to sys tray and from the pick up menu did choose for example the receive option. Worked fine. There are no problems in Device Manager under Bluetooth. But there are blue question marks under Other Devices (= several lines of Bluetooth Peripheral Devices)

BUT I have a problem with USB 3.0. It doesn't work at all. I tried to install Win 7 USB 3.0 NEC/Renesas drivers but immediately got a nag they won't be compatible. Device Manager shows problem under Universal Serial Bus controllers. Renesas Electronic USB 3.0 Root Hub yellow/exclamation mark.

USB 2.0 connectors work OK.

EDIT: Got my USB 3.0 working OK after installing a new version of AI Suite. See this thread: http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?id=20130112214926319&SLanguage=en-us&page=1&board_id=1&model=P8P67%20DELUXE

Hi mjordan,

Atheros Bluetooth Win8 driver can be downloaded @ station-drivers.com, section Bluetooth -> Atheros . Version is 8.0.0.212 - 24/10 12.
