Hello,

FYI, I came across this earlier on the Downloads for utilities section.

Seems like a handy tool.

I tried it and under HDD's area under APM it says disabled, and it also says after standby resume disabled.  Since I am still experiencing sleep resume problems and have tried all suggestions to date besides new hardware which I cannot afford at this time maybe this is some explanation.

I like the idea of an actual ASUS diagnostic tool and I hope that this will help us help ASUS and likewise.

Mark K.

If you want to change these settings on the fly in Windows (PM - APM - AAM - SMART), I can strongly recommend HDDscan for Windows (v3.3?) Once used, you will never depart from it ! You can verify immediately by ASUS Diagnostic Tools. Regards.

That is what I thought too, just 10 minutes ago. I got Q code AE , pressed the spacebar in the assumption to display screen again, but nothing happened. A freeze I thought, but by accident I just tipped the power button and guess what: Hey Presto all things on line and fully working and I got Q code 30 (what means awakening)

Disable Internal PLL OV. It's a known issue with overclocking SB.
