Hello,

I bought the M4A77TD Pro Mainboard with a AMD Phenom II X4 CPU (955).
Thought there is full VT Support.

But today I used the Hardware-Assisted Virtualization Detection Tool available
from the Microsoft Webseite:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0ee2a17f-8538-4619-8d1c-05d27e11adb2&displaylang=en

This tool says that the "Hardware-assisted virtualization is not enabled on this computer"
And the website
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/support/configure-bios.aspx
say that I have to enable hardware-assisted virtualization in the BIOS.

But where? I don't find an appropriate menuitem (ver. 0803). There is a
"Secure Virtual Mashine Mode" Item under "Advanced"->"CPU Configuration"
which is disabled. Do I have to enable the hardware virtualization by setting
this item to enabled?

Steve

I don't have the same motherboard as you, but on mine it is indeed "Secure Virtual Machine Mode" that needs to be enabled.

Hello Mr Evil,

yes, that was the information that I searched for.
Thanx. The mode is now enabled.
