Hi, I am about to buy a KGPE-D16 motherboard, and I cant find any information about crossfire support. There is no crossfire label/sticker on the package images I was able to find. Google search doesn't offer any helpful information (so far). The Asus product page mentions "...2 true PCI-E x16 Link (support 2 double deck graphic cards)..." when describing the Flex-E technology, and the ability to switch to other modes, but there is no mention of crossfire support. http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=4AUqWniKqYByIAxw&templete=3 Has anyone been able to get crossfire working on this board?

Hi m..

There is some information here about the 5690 that suggests that Crossfile should be possible..

But you would need to contact Asus or AMD directly to know for sure...

Most helpful. Thanks a lot.

verdict (for google's indexing)

it looks like asus KGPE-D16 dual g34 board supports crossfire. The boards discussed in the link below use the same chipsets as the KGPE-D16. (Dual AMD SR5690 + SP5100 Chipset). I will post my own findings after I build my machine.

I have install 2 x 5750 and catalyst shows CrossfireX enabled. I can't test anymore because the psu is not working correct ... but i believe CrossfireX works fine.

finally got everything in. crossfire works fine for me. one problem I had was that the computer with crash when I enabled crossfireX in CCC. uninstalling and reinstalling the driver+ccc fixed this problem, and when I went to enable crossfire, the box was already checked for me.
