Hi.

My motherboard does not recognize the
Promise FastTrak 378 RAID controller anymore
on bios settings the controller is enabled ide mode
after boot the motherboard does not show  promise controller at all

what could be the problem?
is the controller dead?

One IDE drive is connected
bios setting is IDE mode

Problem is before OP system
I don't see the controller at boot time
and the OP system cant see it also

Hi S..

I guess the controller coulkd have failed...   If you haven't already, go through the CLRTC procedure that is described in the 'Jumper' section of your manual.  A BIOS reset 'might' get the controller working again.

already cleared the bios
seems that the motherboard is slowly dying
