>I'm sorry, I don't know the model of my motherboard, but I did include my laptop model number if that helps. I'm hoping that my question doesn't require that I know my motherboard model number.>
>I recently purchased an asus laptop, model x55c. I'm now trying to set up a dual boot of windows and ubuntu, but the BIOS looks like it has no option to boot from the cd. In most of the BIOS' I have configured, there has always been an option to switch the boot order. I don't know if I'm missing something, or if there is an alternative way to boot from the cd drive, but any help is greatly appreciated.>

Hi Brian..

As you noticed, we have no sections here devoted to notebook units..  You might get some discussion and help if you post your issue to a notebook section in the ROG forum..
