Hey everyone, I'm new to this forums and I'm really hoping someone can help me out. I have a N61Jq
notebook and I have had it for about a month and everything was all
well until about a week ago where I noticed that my USB storage device
wasn't showing up at all when I opened my computer. I looked under
device manager and this is where I found the problem when a yellow
exclamation point was next to the WPD filesystem volume driver and it
says could not start code 10. Now this is where it gets weird, when I
plugged in my ipod through the USB port the computer will read it and it
syncs fine and everything, also my USB mouse also is detected and works
fine, it just seems like the usb storage device doesnt work (I have
tried with multiple usb storage devices and SD cards, all with the same
problem). I have tried using the USB storage devices in my other
computer and they still work so its definitely something with this
notebook. ALSO my CD/DVD Rom optical drive is also not showing up when I
open my computer and it doesnt read any dvd's or CD's when I put them
in (it sounds like it will load something then it just stops). Under
device manager it says my CD/DVD is working properly so I have no idea
what is going on. I think my computer is possessed or something.
Anyways I do have bitdefender which did a couple of updates too my
computer since I have had it so I don't know if that is what caused the
problem or not. Any type of help would be greatly appreciated
