What exactly are you trying to achieve?
Are you overclocking the system?  If so, what parameters are looking to approach?  If your not overclocking the PC leave everything to Auto.
Configure the ram timings however by default the bios will handle that supreme.  Check your stick labels for proper timings if the bios is misleading the settings.
Set your defaults for the storage configuration rather to IDE or Raid depending on what your planning to approach for the hard drives.
Enable Plug & Play if you want the operating system to automatically assign the IRQ's.

I read in forum, mine motherboard support 45nm cpu but will need downclocking for work fine.

I want to know if parameters in BIOS is correct for work fine this processor in my MOBO or need something else.

Downclocking is approached when the oveclocked cpu can't handle the stress & heat temperatures.
Your installing a brand new cpu, so you don't have to downclock anything.

Make sure the bios has settings to Auto.
Acknowledge what I typed in the first post.

sorry men, but i don't understand. You say set to auto everything in BIOS and should not have problem with the FSB or Vcore installing Q9650 in P5W?

Maybe i don't explain very well but if the installing in this MOBO with the CPU Q9550 means set FSB maximun 333 MHZ and I want to set in the same MOBO a powerfull CPU like Q9650 and you say set to Auto....mmmm I just don't know.

Am Really lost.....

FSB=Auto (266*9=2400 mhz)

Thanks anyway.....

Hi M..
There is a FAQ about this...

Problem

I’ve recently bought a Intel 45nm Yorkfield CPU Q9650. When I put it onto my P5W DH deluxe, everything is perfect, but L2 cache size shows 0 KB in BIOS. When I check it in CPU-Z, the problem persists. How do I re-solve it?

Answer

Due to chipset limitation, i975X chipset is not able to support all the features of 45nm CPU. The following is a list of the limitations:
1. VT function does not work.
2. The maximum FSB is capped at 1066MHz.
3. 0.5 CPU multiplier is not supported.
4. L2 cache size is not recognized correctly. However L2 cache is still functioning.

Yes, I konw this limitatios.....Let me see

The following is a list of the limitations:
1. VT function does not work. ( i don't need it VT)
2. The maximum FSB is capped at 1066MHz. (thats is the question. How much FSB I need to downclocking for working fine. Maybe like Q9550 the maximun is 333 mhz. thats is I need to know?)
3. 0.5 CPU multiplier is not supported. (don't care Q9650 multiplier is 9)
4. L2 cache size is not recognized correctly. However L2 cache is still functioning.(still working...am good)

Hi M..

I think you posted the proper CPU external Frequency and multiplier   266Mhz X 9

So if your system is running with that processor at 2.4Ghz, then that is correct.
