Try updating your motherboard with the latest beta bios although it is quite dangerous but it'll solve the problems arising due vista installation.

I warn you p5rd1-vm is not a very good choice for vista specially with a external graphics card.

LAN drivers are supplied by microsoft only they'll install themselves when u install vista.

i am using vista since it was released and know a lot what it takes to run vista on this motherboard. so u ppl can contact me anytime.

I´m with the same trouble tah you, but get some solutions:

About de PCI-Express video Card:
You must install de North Bridge Chipset (ATI Express 200).
Find it for 32 and 64bits at:
https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2.ati.com/drivers/7-3_vista32-64_sb_43741.exe
After the install you´ll can install your pci-e vga card driver

About the sound I´ll cotninue searching, onetime that the links above don´t are functionally.

at last, excuse-me about my english. It´s very poor.

Below is the driver for the Digital Audio on Bord at the mainboard P5RD1-VM

I already tested in Vista 32bits, and it´s OK.
I don´t have a Vista 64bits system to test it in.

Eu li sua mensagem anterior que fala sobre placa de video.

Eu estou com o seguinte problema, o windows não reconhece minha placa de video, quando eu tento instalar os drivers fala que não ha nenhum hardware compativel instalado, so que está tudo certo.

O que eu devo fazer para conseguir instalar minha placa de video?
